Following on from the success of our training workshops earlier this year, we will again be hosting training workshops for both HYENA⁺ and CAMEL⁺ across November and December 2024.
This training is a great opportunity for newcomers to advance their skills, or for those who are already familiar with the programs to reinforce their understanding of how to get the most out of the software. Each workshop is designed to be interactive, with worked project examples that you will be led through by the educator, as well as opportunities for Q&A throughout.
As a bonus, those who sign up by Friday 11th October 2024 will receive a 20% discount off the cost of their attendance.
HYENA+ Workshop One: Wed 13th November 12:30PM – 5:00PM AEDT
Includes an explanation of basic concepts, how to use the most common input screens, and more. You will learn:
- Hydraulic calculation basics
- Understanding the basis of calculations – Hazen-Williams and Darcy Weisbach Methods
- Understanding K-factors and Pressure Exponent
- An overview of preparing a node diagram / considerations for numbering
- How to use the most common input screens and how to get the most out of the new features in the HYENA⁺ platform
