As ACADS-BSG continues its journey of growth, we reflect on the significant milestones we’ve achieved over the past years.
In 2020, we embarked on a crucial software upgrade journey while preserving the core integrity of our programs. Simultaneously, we launched an upgraded online Support Desk system via our revamped website. This modernisation effort enabled us to gather valuable operator feedback, streamline the implementation of suggestions, and enhance the overall user experience for both CAMEL⁺ and HYENA⁺.
Building on this success, 2021 saw the introduction of a cloud-based version of HYENA, aptly named HYENA⁺. This development fostered seamless collaboration, accessibility, and complete self-management for users and teams worldwide. Following suit, in 2022, we launched a cloud-based iteration of the CAMEL program.
To further engage our valued users, we introduced Public Product Roadmaps for both HYENA⁺ and CAMEL⁺, offering transparency into past, current, and planned enhancements to our programs, all while welcoming your valuable feedback, suggestions, and implementations.
In December 2022, we released new design conditions for CAMEL⁺ based on updated weather data from the Bureau of Meteorology spanning the years 2000-2021. Two months later, we also released an update to CAMEL⁺ to reflect the changes in the newly released 4th Edition of the AIRAH DA09 Load Estimation Application Manual.
More recently, we’ve made significant strides by introducing the Graphical User Interface for HYENA⁺, visually displaying pipe network node diagrams. Although still in its beta phase, this improvement not only facilitates more effective calculation reviews but also mitigates data entry errors.
